ABOUT OUR CLUB

Gladstone Kart Club is a not-for-profit sporting organisation run by a dedicated volunteer committee. In July 2019, the club proudly celebrated 40 years since its founding committee first met in 1979.

Affiliated with Karting Australia and Karting Queensland, the club hosts up to ten race meetings each season and provides a welcoming environment for drivers of all ages and experience levels.

At the heart of the club is the development of junior drivers and grassroots motorsport. Members are given the opportunity to progress through local, state and national competition, including the Australian Karting Championships.

As Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna once said, karting is:

“The purest driving experience.”
