ABOUT OUR CLUB

Gladstone Kart Club is a non-for-profit sporting organization that is operated within a committee structure. On July 27th 2019 the club celebrated turning 40 – the date the founding committee members had its first official meeting in 1979.

Gladstone Kart Club is affiliated with Karting Australia & Karting Queensland and hosts ten scheduled meetings in a race season.

At our core is the development of junior drivers that strive to achieve their dreams and compete at the highest level of motor racing. Our member drivers are provided with a platform to compete throughout Queensland and in the Australian Karting Championships against the best in their class.

Ayrton Senna, Formula 1 legend and one of the best racing drivers in the history of motorsport, would call karting:

“The purest driving experience.”
